* Note MGA 1500 kit: It should be determined which threads your rear brass union (located on the rear axle) have by direct inspection and not by the chassis numbers. Many unions have been changed over the years. The British standard threads are coarser with 20 threads per inch than the UNF fine threads with 24 threads per inch found on later models. If you have no way to measure them simply compare them to the other male brake fittings on the car . . which are UNF.
